Opening Hours

From 1 August our opening hours are:

Monday to Thursday - taproom & shop 11am to 4pm

Friday - taproom & shop 11am to 5pm

Saturday - taproom & shop 12pm to 5pm

Sunday - taproom & shop 12pm to 4pm

From 1 September our opening hours are:

Monday to Friday - taproom & shop 11am to 4pm

Saturday - taproom & shop 12pm to 5pm

Sunday - taproom & shop 12pm to 4pm

We are closing early on the 4 September at 1pm and on the 6 September at 2pm.

The number 6 bus comes past the brewery at 6pm heading for Kirkwall via Tingwall. It is a bookable service and here's the full timetable with details of how to book for Summer 2026. 

For evening events on a Saturday the night bus 7e comes past at 8.38pm and 10.35pm heading for Kirkwall via Dounby. This is not a bookable service and here is the timetable with more details for the night bus.

You can tour the brewery and these are bookable now for dates from 18 April onwards. 

You can hire the taproom for weddings and events for up to 75 people. If you’ve got any questions or would like to hire the taproom, send us a message, email cheers@swannaybrewery.com, give us a call on 01856 721700 or come and see us between 10am and 2pm, Monday to Friday.

Children and those aged under 18 are very welcome in our taproom, but they must be supervised by a responsible adult.
