We're hiring - brewery assistant/delivery driver

We’re looking for our next great team member - we’re hiring for a brewery assistant / delivery driver. 

This is a very physical, entry level job, but one with excellent potential for the right candidate to progress in the business along with our current development project.

We want to be clear: this is a tough job. Lots of lifting, cold and wet conditions, near continuous cleaning; our brewery is very manual through and through. And that’s not to mention the fact it’s a family business!

But seriously, a love of beer and an enthusiasm to help make world class beers that make Orkney proud is a must for this job. It’s not a job for someone without a passion for beer making.

The role is roughly 80% brewery assistant and 20% delivery driver.

Key duties:

• cask washing and filling
• keg washing and filling
• picking orders for customers
• loading and unloading of deliveries (forklift truck)
• assisting in the production of beer, cleaning tanks, cleaning floors
• general cleaning

Full-time role based at Swannay.
